Spiritual Book Editor
Jenna is a discriminating, thoughtful and skilled editor. She’s also a creative developmental editor, helping authors bring a disorganized body of work into more structure and coherence. As a line editor, she understands the mechanics of good writing, and she has a clear understanding of grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
However, the thing that sets her apart as an editor is her depth of intuition and wealth of knowledge from different mystical traditions. She can feel into spiritual concepts and transcendent experiences, helping them become more concretely and elegantly expressed in writing.
Among the works she has edited are three books by Anaiya Sophia, who can be found at www.anaiyasophia.com. Jenna’s personal connection with Anaiya through the Way of Love and the Sisterhood of the Rose made working together a delight.
Along with Heather Strang, Jenna co-edited Anaiya Sophia’s book SACRED SEXUAL UNION, The Alchemy of Love, Power and Wisdom, published by Destiny Books in 2013.
In acknowledgement, Anaiya writes: “…Thank you for standing by me on this quest. I shall remember your support until the end of time.”
In 2014, Jenna edited THE ROSE KNIGHT, for which Anaiya writes: “To my passionate and magical midwife and editor, Jenna Paulden, thank you so much for injecting your juice and insight into the creation of The Rose Knight.”
For Anaiya’s book SACRED RELATIONSHIPS, The Practice of Intimate Erotic Love, published by Inner Traditions in 2017 and co-written with Padma Aon Prakasha, Jenna edited and also contributed essays.
Anaiya writes in her acknowledgements: “To my passionate contributor and editor, Jenna Paulden, who always shows up, more and deeper, utterly committed to the path and to our journey as Sisters within the Feminine Christ, thank you for contributing your own Pearls of Wisdom to this book—Communication, Gratitude, Listening and Sovereignty.”
More recently, Jenna worked with local Taos writer Reese Jula (www.taossagewaters.com) on Masquerading Shadows and Spirals of Light, the last two books of her Trilogy, “Darius’ Endless Cord.” Reese writes, “You have been such a blessing and you are an amazing and brilliant editor!”
Jenna has dedicated most of the years 2023 and 2024 to writing her sequel toThe Alchemy of Avalon, but during that time, she is available on a limited basis for shorter editing projects.
